The Water Supply Regulations 1999
The Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999 mention that RPZ valves need to comply with the requirements for water fittings (Regulation 4) and have to be installed in a workmanlike manner.
Both new installations and the replacements of any existing valves must be completed to Approved Installation Method (AIM) standards.
